Time, tallent, and treasure are some of the greatest gifts you can give to a community church and organization. The gift of your volunteerism is one that will be cherrished again and again by the lives you touch and First Grace as a whole!
At First Grace, your time, tallents, and treasures will be put to good use in ways that will help develop our ministries and help to strenghten your commitment to this community and excersise your tallents and interests.

We take our volunteer security, safety, and engagement serious here at First Grace. In cooperation with Federal and State Volunteer laws, we ask that all volunteers who plan on volunteering a minimum of once or a month, or 6 times a year fill out a volunteer application in full for processing. Single-event volunteers or drop-in volunteers will only need to fill out a Events Release form to document your involvement.
Depending on your interests as a volunteer you may be asked to be screened via background check and supplemental interview. All volunteers are given opportunities to meet with other lead volunteers and staff for orientation and trainings related to their specific volunteer duties and general volunteerism.
Below you will see our Volunteer Interest Form. On this form you'll be able to contact our staff and alert them to your volunteer interests so we can get in touch with you about your options, learn a little more about you, and get necessary paperwork out to you. Unless you come into our offices for paperwork or to speak to a staff member, our Volunteer Interest Form is your first step!
It's your time treasured in the community, spend it with an organization that take the time to make it worthwile, spend it with First Grace United Church of Christ.

Programs such as emergency food and information distirbution in local, regional, and nationwide occurrances. General volunteers can easially sign-up to be on our Emergency Volunteer List in case of these extreme situations. Some specified trainings can and will be offered in certain cases.
