Sunday School at First Grace takes place for children in grades K-5th on Sunday mornings.  We gather together after the “passing of the peace,” which happens about 10-20 minutes into our service.  Children are free to sit with their parents or other relatives until it is time to leave service for Sunday School.  Children who are under the age of 3 attend our church nursery and may arrive there at the beginning of the service.  The nursery is open all Sunday mornings including holidays.

*We ask that youth and teens in 6th-12th stay in Worship during the entire service.  Please see our Advocate for Youth Ministries, Ben Bisbee for more information about programs related to junior and senior high.

 Our Sunday School style is called “Workshop Rotation” meaning that we talk about one story over the course of several weeks.  We use many different mediums in which to learn the story, for example we use art, story time, music, drama, cooking, games, movies and computers at different times to help us get a story across to each child.  We have found that if children are exposed to a subject over the course of several weeks and in several different ways, they really learn it and can relate other stories and life events back to it.
